Sally is one of our very own talented self taught Laggan landscape village artists. Sally captures in a realist style the beautiful atmospheric play of light on the land and the vastness and changing moods of the Australian countryside. She uses acrylics expertly and has been commissioned to paint works for private collectors and the Australian Defence Force. Her landscapes are held in private and public collections both in Australia and overseas
Sally is interested in teaching beginner students to use a photo reference to experience the art of going from photo to painting. She is a master of not trying to reproduce the medium of photography but rather to use it as a starting point to express each artist's own vision of the world.
